New World Notes published my summary of results of last month’s survey on Second Life and Real Life privacy yesterday. Nearly 800 respondents completed the online survey. I’ll publish a full report and commentary on these findings in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, check out these highlights: Only 1 in 4 Second Life users take active steps […]

Here it is. My crowning achievement in Second Life. Paradise Lost – The Movie – Free for all.
Real versus virtual prejudice comes down to choice in Second Life
The other day I hosted a chat salon on prejudice in Second Life. The DraxFiles Radio Hour: Sansar Anxiety
I’m grateful to Draxtor Despres for inviting me to participate as a panelist for the first episode of Season 3 of the DraxFiles Radio Hour [with Jo Yardley]. I was joined by Bill Glover, Founder of Bright Canopy (the browser-based Second Life viewer) and Josh Farka, Founder of Guided Meditation VR, a virtual-reality relaxation application designed for the Oculus Rift.
New Survey: How much do you mix your real life with your Second Life?

I heard many arguments against this idea, and several arguments in its favour. Unsatisfied, I want to know what Second Life residents actually do, and what they think, about this very interesting question.

The judges, John Herring of Windlight Magazine and Caitlin Tobias (Official Photographer for Paradise Lost), and I unanimously selected Richard’s imaginative and technically powerful photograph.
