I’m pleased to share this very slick, short machinima video with you – in part because I greatly admire Forren Ashford’s work in Second Life, but also because she was kind enough to invite me to do the voiceover work for this. This is our latest collaboration, and I’m sure it won’t be our last.
Turn up your sound and go 1080p HD for the best viewing and listening experience.
VVON VOICIC™ is a Concept House – they create concepts films. This sample is a short video calling for people to take part in their upcoming projects.
Forren Ashford, whom I’ve had the pleasure to collaborate with on all four of the very popular Paradise Lost in Second Life Trailers, admits “it’s a very vague and undefined definition- but we are not an agency.”
I asked her a bit more about what concept films were used for, and she replied: “Nothing specifically, VVON VOICIC™ is heavily based for my artistic expression – whatever concept I dream up, I will bring it to life. It is heavily based in fashion for the time being. VVON VOICIC™ as a whole is amorphous which is why I’d rather it simpler to tell people what it isn’t as opposed to what it is – ever-changing.”
Yeah, I’m not sure I completely get it either… regardless, the video is pretty damn cool isn’t it?
Forren Ashford is the creative director behind VVON VOICIC™, the concept house was founded and is headed by Vaclar Vvon Voicic. Visit their website for more information about the casting call.
