The KamaSutra Exotic Dance and Strip Club – A Pictorial Preview

Well, this is it! We’re ready for our Private VIP Soft Opening (March 21) and Public Grand Openings (March 23)! We are immeasurably happy with the custom club build and are extremely proud to share this pictorial preview of it with you.

And so, without further ado… Introducing the KamaSutra Exotic Dance and Strip Club!!!

The view from the landing point

The landing point is right in front of the Club. Here you’ll find our welcoming 6-step staircase leading to (Nirvana πŸ˜‰ ) the KamaSutra Entrance Foyer. The Staircase is framed by our twin Indian Elephants (whom I’m calling Ruby and Jade – we’ll see if it sticks). These two two exotic beauties trumpet their trunks as a welcome to every visitor. Guests are welcome to snuggle with that special someone in their canopies.

In the entrance Foyer

Walk up the stairs and you’ll find yourself in our Entrance Foyer. Here you’ll find tip jars for staff on your left. On the right is the painting of a KamaDiva – a feminine personification of the Hindu God of Human Love.

The Grand Room: View from the Foyer

As you hear yourself crossing the beaded curtain, you’ll find yourself inside the Grand Room. Here, you’ll find an assortment of dance furniture, a Bar, and a Stage and Runway.Β  Above you can see our bar, each bar top is long enough to allow for two KamaDiva dancers, and a Bartender between them.

The Grand Room: The view from Bar

We have selected some of the most innovative dance furniture (from Henmations) that is very new to SL. The two coffee tables you see in the Grand Room are dance animated for table dancing. The room is exactly 20 metres, measured diagonally, allowing for the guest on the farthest barstool to chat with the dancer on the farthest opposite pole.

The Grand Room and Dome: View from Ganesh

Above you’ll see our treasured candlesticks, which we knew we wanted in the Club even before the blueprint was made. This picture really shows off the warm orange glow under the Bartop, that mirrors the Stage and the smoke arising from Backstage, beneath the Red KamaSutra relief. We were also very clear that we wanted a high ceilings to add as much of a palacial atmosphere as possible.

The Grand Room Floor: View from Ganesh

The repetition of arches was a fundamental consideration in the design. Every arch in the club (there are 14 in total) is mirrored at least once – creating a feeling of harmony and balance.

The Grand Room: The View from Runway Stage

This is the view from the end of the Runway stage. The length of the Club is overseen by the watchful eyes of Ganesha – the remover of obstacles – who’s constant presence will serve to protect everyone within the Club from evil-doers, lest he weild his mighty axe or whip πŸ˜‰

The Grand Room: The view from Stage Left

Fundamental to our original plan was to have a Runway that would bring dancers into the club from the Stage. The Runway and the Stage are fitted with 5 poles that interact with the lap dance furniture surrounding the runway – again, a very innovative animation that can only be found in a handful of clubs around SL.

Under the watchful eyes of Ganesha

A view of the Club from one of Ganesha’s right arms. I just kind of liked the drama of it.

The Lap Dance Room

Apart from the VIP Rooms, which we’ll share with you in another post, the Club allows for a multitude of semi-private encounters between our guests and dancers. In the Lap Dance Room (above), you’ll find several seats for single sit poses, a chaise lounge for couples, and a blue lap dance chair in the centre of the room.

The Massage Room

Above is the Massage Room. Here, entertainers can invite a guest to give him or her a massage on the red massage table. They can also make use of the couple animations on the deerskin rug on the ground or sit in peaceful admiration on the plush seat in the corner.

The Ruby Room

This is the Ruby Room, where dancers can entertain guests from the warmth of the plush rug or on the animated sofas, seats or cushions.

The Jade Room

And finally, this is the Jade Room. This room is decorated in a cooler palette that offers a similar experience to the Ruby Room, but just a little more chilled out.

We can’t wait to open to our VIPs tomorrow, and greet as much of SL that will visit us on Friday the 23rd. We promise to put in as much passion into running the Club, as we have put into planning and building it. And, we hope you’ll love it!

The land will be open access on the 23rd, but here is the SLURL if you want to bookmark it. See you inworld!
