is an investigation into the transformations that human relationships face when interacting in Virtual Worlds. Love and sexuality are an important factor in any human relationships. However, what is new in Virtual Worlds is the ability to exercise those relationships without any real risk, external censure or imposition from an internal “super-ego”.
Barring the tacked-on Freudian references, the imagery and transitions are exceptional and the asian-inspired music is very well matched. It’s well worth the 10-minute investment in viewing the whole thing from beginning to end.
More than subtly channeling Stanley Kubrick’s “Eyes Wide Shut”, his sensorally provocative illustration of the permeable membrane betweent the avatar and the person behind it is brilliantly expressed. Sit back, relax, turn on your speakers and enjoy.
